Katy and Mark are both music teachers and the high school choir sang at their wedding ceremony.  I was pretty certain that angels were singing.  Katy and Mark’s engagement photos last year at Longwood Gardens and I was struck by how FUN they were. At their wedding I saw even more of their charm together. As you can see from the photos, there was SO MUCH LAUGHING! The whole day it was hard to catch Katy WITHOUT a smile on her face that could light up the whole room, and Mark and his groomsmen were full of non-stop funny one-liners.  The music was absolutely angelic. Their reception was at Wyndridge Farm.

The ceremony took place in the church in which Katy grew up-a breathtakingly beautiful sanctuary with a huge pipe organ at the front.  One of my favorite moments was seeing the proud looks on Katy and Mark’s faces as their students performed.  And they had a right to be proud. Those voices were heavenly.

Their reception was at Wyndridge Farm…

Katy and Mark had one of the most enthusiastic receptions I’ve ever seen. Surrounded by friends and family they had grown up with…one whole table was neighbors who lived on their block!  The toasts were great, too.  Katy’s dad shared how he had prayed for the right man to come into Katy’s life…

The party ended with a “musical” (air guitar?) performance  Congratulations, Mark and Katy!!!!
