The first time I met Dana I told her I wanted to photograph her. She was just as beautiful as I knew she would be on her big day. It was great watching her and Josh get married in the church where I grew up, in the “overflow” room where I spent so much of my teenage years. When she and Josh came to visit me about being their photographer, I realized that Josh had gone to middle school with both me and my younger brother. It’s amazing to watch someone you knew in middle school getting married. Look how handsome he was!!
Special thanks to Kelly Giacorro who was my second shooter for the day.
Josh surprised Dana with a delivery of flowers while she was getting ready….
When things are going this fabulously, no one minds if you can’t help but show off a little
Dana’s dad came in to see her and his reaction was great
Josh and Dana’s First Look was one of my favorites ever.
Dana wanted to create a starry, candle-lit feel in the overflow where they held her ceremony. The senior pastor did part of the ceremony and Dana’s dad did another part. They looked so happy as they walked down the aisle.
We made a quick stop by the Fulton Opera House in Lancaster, where Josh works. It’s not every day I get to photograph in a place as cool as this. They even put Dana & Josh’s name on the marquee…
After the Fulton, we took a few quick photographs on the street near the ice cream shop where they had their first date…
Then we drove over to their reception at the Barn at Overlook
Apparently Dana is an excellent baker. She made their wedding cake!
